Steve Danker is a Co-Founder and Chief Product and Technology Officer at PROVOSO, where he is responsible for directing the company’s product and technology strategies and operations as an innovative provider of Advanced Technology Supply Chain Performance software.

Steve brings extensive technology and business leadership experience to Provoso.  He has launched multiple successful technology firms, including PROVOSO.  He served as interim Vice President of IT Operations for Bridgestone Americas, Chief Information Officer for Boston Chicken, Best Buy and ShopNBC and Chief Technology Officer for NAL Worldwide. He has also held executive positions in consulting, with leadership roles in more than a dozen disruptive technology and organizational transformations.

Steve’s passion is creating and continuously improving high performance organizations and products.  His leadership style prioritizes both empowerment and accountability to deliver the highest degree of customer and associate satisfaction.

Steve holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Drake University and is a graduate of Harvard University’s IT Management program.  He is an advisor, mentor, and board member for technology and educational organizations. Steve has served as a member of Microsoft, Juniper Network, and Sun Microsystems Executive Advisory Councils and has received awards for technology and diversity excellence from the Smithsonian, CIO Magazine, Computerworld, and Information Week.  He has been a guest lecturer at the Carlson School of Management, University of Minnesota.
